David Daniels, Music Director
David Daniels has been conductor of the Warren Symphony since its beginnings. He is Professor Emeritus at Oakland University, and the author of Orchestral Music, a standard reference book for orchestra professionals around the world, now in its 4th edition.
His opera performances were named "Best Opera of the Year" five times by the Boston Globe. He has also guest-conducted the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Detroit Symphony Civic Orchestra, Michigan Opera Theatre, Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre, Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings, Meadow Brook Festival Orchestra, and the Orquesta Sinfonia de Maracaibo, Venezuela.
